Saloni’s wedding dress

The making of Saloni’s dress in her own words :

"Working with re- was a complete breeze. I had blind faith in Ateev, his aesthetics and capabilities. After the first conversation I had with my (now) husband about maybe getting married in the near future, I texted Ateev to tell him that marriage might be on the cards and he had to do my wedding dress.

It was a treat choosing the fabrics, the embrodiery, threads, colours with Ateev meticulously taking us through each swatch. As a student of textiles, I was really invested in the process and I have always been inspired by Ateev's work with natural dyes and weaves.

When it was time to actually wear the dress, 1 couldn't believe it. I was packed to the brim with emotions. As a girl you dream of being a bride all your life (thanks to the many, many hours we were babysat by Disney!) and to be at the exact moment with the dress of your dreams..!"
